Our H turned eighteen yesterday, A birthday that marks adulthood. A special gift to keep for life made by Belinda of Blue Flame Design, a handcrafted silver necklace inspired by the native clematis flower that grew outside H window when she was born, and is always in full bloom on her birthday. Our house buzzed with friends and dancing and pool playing and outdoor fire side laughing, late night pool swimming and warming in beanbags by the indoor fire. Those who stayed rose early and swam again, lazed in the sunshine, laughed over the nights antics around the outdoor table over a barbecue cooked brunch. A perfect celebration of our wonderful girl.
