A day in the prop houses selecting a wish list of items, floors and floors of everything....numbered and itemised then costed or grouped in a pile on the floor to be tagged and costed. Followed by an evening out, Bar Americain for a cocktail, a classic american style bar serving traditional cocktails amongst authentic Art Deco decor. Dinner across the foyer at Brassserie Zedel, opulent parisian style brasserie for remarkable value and delicious traditional french food in historic Beaux arts surroundings.It felt like we were dining upon a glamourous ocean liner from the 30s.
